Shirley Hidderley

Shirley qualified as a Farm Secretary from Rodbaston Agricultural College in 1982. In 1996 Shirley won the prestigious ‘National Farm Secretary of the Year’ award from the Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators. Shirley spent 13 years working as full-time farm secretary on a large modern and very forward thinking family farm in Shropshire before going on to set up her own farm bookkeeping practice in 1996.

Shirley is passionate about farming and helping her clients with proactive solutions to help them manage the ever increasing burden of farm paperwork.

Emma Godwin

Emma joined our team in 2015 and also attended Rodbaston Agricultural College. She spent 15 years as a herdswoman for a local dairy farm in Rugeley, Staffordshire, and later worked as a Legal Secretary. Emma brings a wealth of farming and legal knowledge to the practice which makes her a first-class farm bookkeeper.

Carol Bedson

Carol joined our team in 2009 and previously worked in the Barclays banking team for over 15 years. Carol is a farmer running her own farm and has a herd of suckler cows and calves. This combined with her financial background means she brings a depth and breadth of experience and knowledge to our practice, which is appreciated by our clients.

Digger our Sausage/Jack

Digger joined our team in 2020. His role during the day is to welcome visitors to the office and at night he heads our security team – he might be small but he sure is mighty and is very good at his job!!
